Recent Events: What we've been up to...

On Thursday 29th June some of our young people and staff attended the National House Project's 5th Birthday Celebration event at Freight Island in Manchester. Young people had the opportunity to mingle with other young people and staff from projects across England and Wales, and catch up with friends from other projects.

Young people enjoyed the event and supported Jodie with her Glitter stall, it was lovely to see the young people taking in the environment, involving themselves and meeting new people. It was a brilliant event and the atmosphere was buzzing! Thank you NHP for a Fantastic Day!

On Saturday 1st July, Young people collaborated with the Manchester and Trafford Project by volunteering at the Pop and Shop event at the Powerhouse, Moss side. Young people helped arrange and sort clothes onto racks and tables, which had been kindly donated from Pretty little thing and Boohoo Man. Young people were able to chose some items for themselves in exchange for their hard work, this event also supported young people to achieve their 'Benefit my community' AQA award as the event supported Care Leavers across Greater Manchester to access free clothing. Young people worked really hard especially as it was an early morning and seemed pleased with their Goodies. Well Done BRO young people!
