Bro My Bnk Sessions
Posted 26th April 2023
Over the past 4 weeks BRO project have been working with My Bnk who have been delivering sessions to the young people on managing money, budgeting, and avoiding debt. The young people found the information to be invaluable and there were definitely some tips to support the future Pennies of the BRO young people! Lots of the young people had a range of knowledge about banks, interest and loans and their contributions to the sessions were amazing! Some young people worked extremely had to achieve the qualification and gained lots of knowledge from these sessions, as well as sharing their own money-saving tips. Thank you to Alex for delivering these sessions, the staff and young people really enjoyed them!
Young people are continuing to build friendships and get to know one another, the residential has been a topical subject for most of the discussions, and young people are looking forward to going to Kepplewray together. Young people have enjoyed coming to session and helping themselves to our pizza or pasta bar, sharing tips to spice up their dishes. Tyler also kindly baked us a sponge cake with a tasty ingredient which was lovely!
